AI Hallucination Is a Real Thing AI Hallucination refers to the phenomenon where an AI system confidently generates false or unjustified information without proper justification from its training data. It is different from human hallucination as it involves unjustified responses or beliefs by the AI system rather than false precepts. AI hallucination gained prominence with the introduction of large language models LLMs such as ChatGPT where users noticed instances of bots embedding realistic yet fabricated information. There are differences between human perception and what AI systems classify as hallucinations. AI hallucination can result in the generation of seemingly nonsensical content appearing to be contradicting or misinterpreting the human users inputs. So at the time this video script was generated there was not a definitive answer to the question AI hallucination is a phenomenon. But as each human being is an individual I it will remain a matter for each of us to take our own view on.
